Yes, we recommend that the temperature of the water in the dipper well be at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit at the beginning of each use. Do not put this scoop in boiling water or heat it to more than 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

I use these dishers for specific cookie projects. So far, there has been no rust or breakage. I also get a perfect form with each portion. This allows me to maintain perfect consistency with my cookies.

Jumbo disher. Works great for serving mashed potatoes and dipping cupcake/muffin batter. Every kitchen should have the complete set. Just trying to determine which sizes we need multiples of.

        

Feels sterdy and doesn't flex. It's bigger than expected. However it's great to take scoops of ice cream. I will have to purchase the smaller size for scooping cookie dough.

        

Purchased to help us control portions of potato salad and coleslaw. Does a great job with constancy, heavy duty construction that has held up well

        

THESE ARE A MUST HAVE IN ANY KITCHEN!! These were game changers on the serving line! They really helped with keeping the portions the same! These are a must have and I have given them as gifts to other meal preparers and chefs.

        

Great scooper that I use for my cake batter. This product was bigger than I expected but still works perfectly to scoop out for my cupcakes. So much better than having to use a spoon. Works great for big scoops of ice cream also!

        

Not good quality at all. I will never in my life buy this again. Real cheap material broke really quick. I am not satisfied at all.

This scoop is excellent. It's very versatile. We use in many different ways: to measure doughs and small quantities of flour, to measure portions of rice and some different foods, to serve soft and hard ice cream, etc. It's very well balanced and the lever is ergonomically positioned. The price is hard to believe, as it feels heavy and sturdy.

This disher is the perfect size for portioning and plating rice, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cottage cheese, and other side dishes. The thumb action is comfortable and the design of the moving parts is minimal, making for a durable and functional piece of equipment.

        

It's nice to have a large disher. We use this to portion out our sides, so we're always consistent. It leaves a nice, formed ball.

        

We use this disher a lot. We use the grill all summer long and grind our own meat for hamburgers. This disher gives us a perfect 1/4 lb patty without having to weigh it.

        

All of these broke within the first month of use. We use lots of scoops at our restaurant but I will not be buying this brand again. I also ordered white handled once that are working fine so far.

This 4 oz thumb press disher is perfect for my seafood salad at my restaurant because I get perfect 4 oz of crabmeat everytime. This saves me alot of money because I get perfect portion, but also makes job easier but at the same time makes it look very presentable. I like the color grey as well.

        

We love these "dishes" because they are sturdy and work well. We use these to scoop cookie dough for a consistent sized cookie and it works great.

        

Much more reasonably priced than comparable products and these dishers are so important in portion control and consistency. They hold up well to very heavy use.
